Hello, my name is Simon, and I create visual experiences.

After almost 20 years of training and working as a lighting designer, I wanted to make more and started branching out into projection art and visual art. Feeling confined by the tools available to me, I started modifying and making my own lighting tools, which led to a position as a creative engineer designing special effects for all manner of experiences.

Now I make all sorts of visual experiences, and would love to make something with you.

I’ve lived next to a rail car ferry for over a decade, but today was the first day I saw it in action. In some ways I can’t believe it’s already been 10 years, it’s also hard to believe it’s only been 10 years, but 10 years ago @antigravity.natalie and I got married surrounded by our amazing friends and family celebrating in some of our favorite spaces. More highlights of our decor. This is the playfield from a 1932 Ballyhoo game. An early coin operated pinball game, this game was the 1st the Bally company who went in to create many classic pinball machines. Next up in the showcase of the weird and wonderful I figured I show off an oddity that isn’t antique. This is a genuine coyote skull we purchased while on our honeymoon. It’s not the only skull we own, but it’s our only wedding skull. 💀 Continuing the showcase of the weird and wonderful objects @antigravity.natalie and I share, we found these in a pile of garbage in Astor place one night, and had to have them. I’ve decided to periodically showcase some of the interesting, odd, and beautiful objects @antigravity.natalie and I have chosen to decorate our house with. This was a photo found in a junk shop that was incredibly awkward so we chose to frame it and put it in the wall. No idea who the subject or photographer are but I like to call it the most awkward pinup. the Chrysler Building has always been my favorite in the NYC skyline.
